چکیده
The aim of this study was to assess the integrity and kidney overall functional capacity subjects exposed landfill emissions. Urine blood levels Pb Cd, several newly biomarkers nephrotoxicity (Kim Injury Molecule 1 (KIM-1), alpha-1 Microglobulin (α1 M), beta-2 (β2 Cystatin-C (Cyst C), Clusterin, alpha-glutathione S-transferase (GSTα), pi-glutathione (GSTπ), Tissue Inhibitor Metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP1), Calbindin, Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL), Osteopontin (OPN), (Retinol Binding Protein(RBP), Liver-type Fatty Acid-Binding Protein (FABP-1), Trefoil Factor 3 (TFF3), Collagen VI) were measured in order glomerular tubule damage adults living near a landfill. Our results indicate dysfunction subjects, supported evidence necrosis proximal distal epithelial cells as specific began appear urine. Positive correlation by Pearson test obtained between : B-OPN, B-Cyst C, U-KIM-1, TIMP1, U-OPN, U-Clusterin; also, urinary Cd B-Clusterin, FABP-1, Albumin, U-Clusterin. relation Cd/Pb exposure early effect clearly predicts future risk severe injury close

Associations of Low Environmental Exposure to Multiple Metals with Renal Tubular Impairment in Korean Adults
Recently several studies reported that the renal toxicity of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) may exist in even a low level exposure. In terms of the deterioration of tubular function, it affects the loss of divalent metals and leads to other complications, so renal tubular effect of heavy metals should be well managed. Considering the exposure to heavy metals in reality, it is hard to find the case ...
متن کاملEarly Detection of Renal Dysfunction in β Thalassemia with Focus on Novel Biomarkers
Improved survival among transfusion dependent thalassemia patients in recent years has led to the manifestation of morbidities such as renal dysfunction. Renal injury is still an underestimated complication in β thalassemia major patients. Chronic anemia, iron overload due to repeated transfusion, and specific iron chelators are the main factors in pathogenesis of renal dysfunction in β thalass...

BACKGROUND Exposure to heavy metals may cause kidney damage. The population living near the Avonmouth zinc smelter has been exposed to cadmium and other heavy metals for many decades. OBJECTIVES We aimed to assess Cd body burden and early signs of kidney damage in the Avonmouth population. METHODS We used dispersion modeling to assess exposure to Cd. We analyzed urine samples from the local...
